This week a photo from Tuomiokirkko in Helsinki. This is the white cathedral in the center of the capital city of Finland. In 2003 we arrived by ferry from Estonia and directly from the water you see the cathedral high above the city, which makes it an impressive building. The Helsinki cathedral, also known as St. Nicholas’ Church is built in Neoclassical style and was completed in 1852. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions of Helsinki and attracts more than 350.000 visitors yearly.
