Lions Dive & Beach Resort, Curacao

Posted by on November 20, 2013

In Curacao we stayed in Lions Dive & Beach Resort. We chose Lions Dive & Beach Resort because of the good facilities, nice beach and nearby nightlife at Mambo Beach. Besides that the hotel only is about 15 minutes from Willemstad.

Our room was located on first floor. Because of that we had a large terrace, overlooking the beach and sea. Several days we had accompany from an iguana on the terrace. Beautiful animal! The spacious hotel room looked decent and had a walk-in shower in the bathroom. One day we had a leaking air conditioner, but that was repaired directly by the friendly staff.

Great view from the terrace in front of our hotel room

Lions Dive & Beach Resort has a wellness club and two pools, including a 50 meters swimming pool. It’s possible to follow lessons scuba diving, book excursions or rent a car. Furthermore there are two restaurants and a food court. In Nemo Restaurant we ate delicious ostrich steak. Breakfast is at Hemingway Bar at the beach. This really feels as the perfect start of the day. Sitting on the beach or terrace, enjoying the food and overlooking the sea! Perfect! But also in evening and night Hemingway Bar is a nice place to be. There we enjoyed happy hour while watching sunset daily.

Our stay at Lions Dive & Beach Resort was great! For me the best moments where the breakfasts at the beach and to see the amazing sunsets while enjoying happy hour at Hemingway Bar. I definitely can recommend this hotel!
